CNEBA Finalists Now Set for 2026 Championship Best of 3 Series
The Blackstone Spinners and Lunenburg Phillies have both advanced to the Finals of the 2026 CNEBA Championship round. Blackstone, Number 3 seed, clinched their Best of 3 with 2 wins over the Number 2 seed, Auburn Rockets. The Lunenburg Phillies, Number 4 seed, captured their Best of Series with 2 wins over Number 1 seed, Tatnuck-Double Play. Ironically, this will be the second consecutive year the same teams will vie for the CNEBA crown.
Blackstone was victorious in 2025 and will now look to repeat. Best of Luck to both squads!

| CNEBA 2026 Playoffs Set to Begin
The CNEBA 2026 Regular Season has been completed as of Thursday, 7/23. Final Seedings are officially in place as the Lunenburg Phillies defeated host Shrewsbury 7-1 in the Opening Round Play-In Game that took place on Thursday, 7/23 at Shrewsbury High School. Lunenburg now advances to play a Semi-Final Best of 3 Series vs Number One Seed, Tatnuck-Double Play. As of this writing, Game 1 of this series has yet to be scheduled. In the other Semi-Final Best of 3 Series, Number 2 Seed, Auburn Rockets will host Number 3 Seed, Blackstone Valley Spinners in Game 1 on Saturday, 7/25 at 12 Noon at Krock Field in Worcester. | 2026 CNEBA Regular Season Officially Begins
The 2026 Opening Day for the CNEBA has officially begun. On Wednesday, May 27, 2026,
the first 2 games were played. Host Shrewsbury toppled Lunenburg 9-1 and the visiting
Tatnuck/Double Play of Worcester group upended Blackstone Valley 7-4.

All 5 teams from the 2025 CNEBA campaign will be returning for the 2026 season. The CNEBA is an Adult based unlimited age league from 19 years and up. The majority of the rosters are present college players and college graduates. Team participants are: Auburn Rockets, Blackstone Valley Spinners, Lunenburg Phillies, Shrewsbury Dirt Dogs and Tatnuck Double Play of Worcester. Blackstone Valley will be looking to defend their 2025 League Championship. Regular Season competition is expected to begin on May 27, 2026 and the 2026 Full Schedule details will be posted very soon. Players seeking to join a team can simply sign-up under the category heading "Free Agent Player Pool" on the cneba.com league website. Team coaches looking to add to their rosters will reach out to those players who have signed up. Important for prospective players to be specific with skill set details when they sign up.
| 2025 CNEBA CHAMPION CROWNED - Blackstone Valley Spinners
The Blackstone Valley Spinners have captured their very first CNEBA title in their 4 year history
of participation. Their Best of 3 Series came at the hands of the Lunenburg Phillies with scores of 3-2 and 8-1. The clincher for the Valley Spinners took place on Sun. 8/10 evening at McLaughlin Park in Leominster. It should be noted the Player/Managers of Blackstone are Marshall Quinley and JP Lucier. Lunenburg is under the guidance of Player/Manager Steve Lajoie and Asst Coach Dave Salvatelli. Blackstone and Lunenburg were the top 2 teams in the final regular season standings and seemed destined to meet in the CNEBA League Finals. Final records - Blackstone 21-6, Lunenburg 17-11. CONGRATULATIONS to both finalists for very fine seasons !
