Ronnies of Worcester Takes Game 1 of CNEBA Finals
Ronnies of Worcester beat the Shrewsbury Dirt Dogs 10-3 at Shrewsbury High School on Sunday afternoon in the first game of the Best of 3 Series.
Hitting leaders for Ronnies included Joey Acker with 2 singles, double and 2 RBI. Closely followed by Bobby Higgins and Andy Carlson with 2 hits apiece scoring 1 and 2 RBI respectively. Game 2
will be played Monday, August 7 at 5:45 PM back at Shrewsbury High weather permitting.

CNEBA Championship Set to Begin
Shrewsbury eliminated Blackstone 7-1 in Saturday action and in doing so punched their ticket back to the FINALS. Shrewsbury was the 2022 League Champ. Ronnies of Worcester put their team back in the Finals for the 2nd consecutive year by sweeping the Lunenburg Phillies a day earlier.
The Best of 3 Series gets underway Sunday at 3 PM at Shrewsbury High School. Game 2 will be Monday, Aug. 7 at 5:45 PM followed by Game 3, if needed, at 5:45 PM on Tuesday, Aug. 8.
Both Monday and Tuesday will be played at Shrewsbury High School. Best of Luck to both teams!

Ronnies Squeaks by Lunenburg to Gain Finals/Shrewsbury defeats Blackstone 3-2 in Semi Opener
Ronnies of Worcester eliminated Lunenburg 1-0 in a classic pitchers duel at McLaughlin Park in Leominster on Thursday evening. Ronnies will return to the Finals for their 2nd consecutive year. They will await the Shrewsbury/Blackstone survivor of their series. Shrewsbury took Game 1 of their Best of 3 Semi-Finals with a 3-2 win. Game 2 will see Shrewsbury traveling to Blackstone in Woonsocket, RI on Friday, Aug. 4, weather permitting.

CNEBA Ronnies Takes Game 1 In Semis Best of 3/ Blackstone vs Shrewsbury Semis Commence
Ronnies of Worcester took the opener of their Semi-Final Series vs Lunenburg by a score of 7-3
on Wednesday evening at Marshall Park in Lunenburg. Game 2 is on tap for Thursday, Aug. 3 at McLaughlin Park in Leominster. First pitch at 6:30 PM. The other Semi-Final Series will begin on Thursday, Aug. 3 featuring the visiting Blackstone Valley Spinners traveling to Shrewsbury High School to take on host Shrewsbury Dirt Dogs. CNEBA Semi-Finals Are Set
The Semi-Finals are now set after the Blackstone Spinners defeated the Worcester Magic 12-3 on Tuesday night at Assumption College. The Spinners will move on to play Shrewsbury in one of the Semi-Final match-ups likely to begin on Thursday, August 3. The other Semi-Final match-up features Lunenburg hosting Ronnies of Worcester in Game 1 of their Best of 3 starting Wednesday, August 2 at Marshall Park.

The Lunenburg Phillies beat Oxford on Monday night 10-1 to advance to the Semi-Finals vs
Ronnies of Worcester. That Best of 3 Series will open up on Wednesday, August 2 at Marshall Park.
In other Playoff action, the Blackstone Spinners evened their series at 1 game each vs The Worcester Magic.The 3rd and deciding game will take place Tuesday, Aug. 1 at Renaud Field in Woonsocket, RI. with the winner of that game moving on to play Shrewsbury.
